“1972
Fabri-Quilt begins working with Carhartt, a relationship that will become a 50+ year partnership and Carhartt’s longest vendor to date.”
“1988
Two women call Fabri-Quilt about quilting for a handbag business they want to start; Vera Bradley is born. Fabri-Quilt remained Vera Bradley’s manufacturer through its IPO.”
“1990
Fabri-Quilt begins exporting to Europe, Asia and Australia.”
“1998
Fabri-Quilt acquires a quilting operation in Charleston, SC, expanding its customer base in the East Coast.”
“2000
Fabri-Quilt expands its operations to Mexico, building a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Queretaro, MX.”
“2003
Lionel’s son, Adlai Kunst, is appointed President.”
“2006
Fabri-Quilt’s COO receives a phone call from a disgruntled project manager with a job gone wrong. We say yes to our first hospitality project.”
“2014
Fabri-Quilt acquires Warp & Phil to continue expansion in the hospitality and commercial space.”
“2018
Fabri-Quilt begins manufacturing its roller shade offerings in-house.”
